VicPD Seeks Tips in Case of High-Risk Missing Person, Miroslav 

Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Police Department is looking for public information on the whereabouts of Miroslav, an elderly man whose disappearance is considered high-risk. 

The 68-year-old was last seen on February 17, 2026 disembarking from a BC Transit bus at the Swartz Bay ferry terminal, around 3:10 p.m. Police believe he is attempting to make his way to Calgary, AB. 

Miroslav lives with mental health and medical conditions that require daily medication – and if any dosages are missed, it will cause serious medical complications and mental deterioration. 

Miroslav is described as a 6’4” tall Caucasian man, weighing approximately 220 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
