Break and Enter Suspect Arrested, Property Returned to Homeowner

Victoria, B.C. - On March 18, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers attended the 600 block of Herald Street in response to a residential break and enter that had occurred during daytime hours.  

The complainant reported money, jewelry, and electronics as stolen. VicPD members reviewed a video from a nearby residence and were able to identify the suspect.  

On March 19, 2026 at approximately 1:10 a.m., the suspect was located, arrested, and found in possession of the stolen property.  

The items have since been returned to a happy homeowner.  

“This is the first time I’ve ever had to deal with a police force and the service was amazing,” said the complainant. 

The suspect is to appear in court in May of 2026.
