Police Investigate Suspicious Person Who Approached Female Youth

Victoria, B.C. – On March 25, 2026, at approximately 1:10 p.m., a man in his 50's, driving a grey mini-van, approached a young female in the 900 block of Selkirk Avenue. The man asked the girl if she wanted a car ride. He then followed her for a minute before leaving the area.  

We are notifying the public of this incident for your awareness.  

Anyone who may have witnessed this man or who has video surveillance of the area at that time, is asked to contact the E-Comm non-emergency line at 250-995-7654 ext. 1, and reference file number 26-12130.
