Victoria Police Seeking Assistance to Locate Wanted Individual

Victoria, B.C. – Victoria Police are requesting the public’s help to locate Joel Reed, 35, who is Unlawfully at Large. 

Reed left a Parole Community Residential Facility in Victoria without authorization during the early morning hours of May 19, 2026. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest. 

Reed is currently serving a federal sentence for convictions including; Extortion, Break and Enter, Theft Under $5000, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order, and Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition. 

Reed is described as: 

Age: 35 

Height: 5’10” (178 cm) 

Weight: 198 lbs (90 kg) 

Hair: Brown 

Eyes: Brown 

Reed is known to be associated with a grey, four-door 2005 Audi A8 sedan.

The public is asked not to approach Reed if seen. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911 and reference file number 26-19788.
