Man Charged Following Assault and Robbery at Save-On-Foods

Victoria, B.C. – A man has been charged with three offences following an incident on September 19, 2026, in which a Save-On-Foods manager was allegedly assaulted during a robbery. 

Peter STATHAM faces one count each of the following offences under the Criminal Code: 

  • Theft under $5,000, contrary to section 334(b) 
  • Assault causing bodily harm, contrary to section 267(b) 
  • Robbery, contrary to section 344(1) 

In addition, he faces three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code, for alleged breaches of conditions related to the original incident on September 30, October 1 and October 2, 2026.  

STATHAM has been remanded and remains in custody until October 21, 2026.
