Date: Monday, August 22, 2022File: 22-31829Victoria, BC – VicPD officers are investigating after a youth was assaulted with a weapon in Victoria on Saturday night.Shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 20th, VicPD officers responded to the 2200-block of Victor Street for a report that a youth had been assaulted with a weapon during a party. Officers arrived on scene, where over 100 youth had gathered in the street during the party. Officers located the victim, who was suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The youth was transported to hospital for medical treatment.The investigation remains ongoing. There have been no arrests.
