Community Services Division Officers Seize Kilogram Of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Replica Firearms & Cash

Date: Tuesday, January 12, 2021File: 21-846Victoria, BC – Officers with VicPD’s Community Services Division (CSD) seized over one kilogram of methamphetamine, fentanyl, two replica firearms, and cash after a drug trafficking investigation late last week.On Friday, January 8th, CSD officers executed a search warrant on a suite at a multi-unit temporary housing facility in the 3000-block of Blanshard Street. Officers located and seized over one kilogram of methamphetamine, along with smaller amounts of fentanyl, two replica firearms, and over $1,000 in cash.A photograph of the seized items is available below.CSD officers arrested one man in relation to the investigation and will be recommending drug trafficking charges.
