Date: Thursday, March 18, 2021File: 21-10611Victoria, BC – VicPD Patrol and Traffic officers are investigating after a cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a vehicle this evening.Shortly after 5 p.m. today Patrol officers were called to the area of Gorge Road East and Bridge Street for a report of a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle. The cyclist was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.Eastbound traffic on Gorge Road East, near Bridge Street, is currently closed.The investigation is ongoing.If you have information about this incident, or have video from the scene, please call our non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654, extension 1.
