Fatal Collision Between Vehicle And Pedestrian Under Investigation

File: 20-28063Victoria, BC – VicPD Traffic officers are investigating after a fatal collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle this morning.Shortly before 9 a.m. this morning, VicPD Traffic officers and Patrol officers were called to the 700-block of Hillside Avenue for a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle. A nearby witness provided medical aid to the victim until the Victoria Fire Department and B.C. Emergency Health Services paramedics arrived. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.If you witnessed this collision, you are asked to call the VicPD non-Emergency line at (250) 995-7654 and select option 1 for the report desk.
