Officers Investigating After Man Assaulted With Weapon In Central Park

Date: Friday, October 16, 2020File: 20-41347Victoria, BC – Officers are investigating after a man was assaulted with a weapon in Central Park on Wednesday night.At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14th, Patrol officers were called to the area of Central Park, in the 2200-block of Quadra Street, for a report that a man had been assaulted. Officers attended and learned that the man was the victim of an assault with a weapon. The victim was transported to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services paramedics. The man suffered non-life-threatening, but potentially life-altering injuries.Officers obtained a limited description of the suspect, who is described as an adult Caucasian man who is bald or has a shaved head.
