Officers Investigating Suspicious Circumstance After Arrow Strikes Vehicle

File: 20-18299Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are investigating a suspicious circumstance which occurred near the intersection of Cook Street and Pandora Avenue late this morning.At approximately 11 a.m. on Monday, May 4th, Patrol officers received a report that someone shot an arrow into a vehicle near the intersection of Cook Street and Pandora Avenue. The vehicle was travelling south on Cook Street when it stopped at a red light at Pandora Avenue. The driver then heard a loud noise which they believed to be a rock hitting their car. Upon arriving home, the driver noticed that a 10-inch metal arrow was lodged in the side of their vehicle. Luckily, no one was injured.The driver of the vehicle did not observe anyone shooting the arrow. Officers are interested in speaking with anyone with information about this incident, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the Cook Street and Pandora Avenue area at around 11 a.m. today.If you have any information about this incident please contact our non-emergency line at 250-995-7654.
