Officers Looking For Owner(s) Of Indigenous Carvings and Masks

Date: Friday, June 16, 2023 File: 23-21449 Victoria, BC – Just after 9:30 a.m. yesterday morning officers located several Indigenous carvings and masks while they were assisting Victoria Bylaw Services in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue. Officers believe they may have been stolen from a recent break and enter and they are looking to locate the owner(s). Officers ensured the items were handled in a culturally sensitive manner. If you have information about these masks, or if they belong to you, please call the Report Desk at (250)-995-7654 extension 1.
