One Man Arrested, Stolen Items Recovered After Temple Break And Enter

File: 20-14943Victoria, BC – Patrol officers arrested one man and recovered stolen property after a break and enter at a temple this morning.At approximately 7:30 a.m. on April 9th, 2020, Patrol officers were called to a report of a break and enter at a temple in the 1200-block of Topaz Avenue. Officers learned that a man broke into the temple at 4 a.m. and left with a number of religious and ceremonial items. Officers conducted their investigation and obtained a description of the suspect.At approximately 8 a.m., officers located and arrested the suspect in Centennial Square. Officers recovered all of the items stolen from the temple.
