Date: Friday, December 3, 2021File: 21-43388, 21-44378Victoria, BC – Roads will be closed in Greater Victoria this weekend for the Truck Light Parade and the Esquimalt Celebration Of Lights parade.On Saturday, December 4th, roads will be temporarily closed in Victoria for the Truck Light Parade. A parade of commercial trucks decorated with Christmas lights will travel throughout Victoria, Oak Bay, Saanich and the Westshore. Road closure will begin on Dallas Road in the area of Ogden Point at approximately 5:30 p.m. Rolling traffic closures will occur as the parade continues along its route. A map of the route is available below.On Sunday, December 5th, roads will be temporarily closed in Esquimalt for the Celebration of Lights parade. At approximately 4:30 p.m. Esquimalt Road will be closed, between Canteen Road and Lampson Street, until approximately 7:30 p.m.VicPD officers will be supporting both events and working to keep everyone safe.
