Suspicious Death On Pandora Avenue Confirmed Homicide

Date: Tuesday, September 26, 2023 File: 23-34517 Victoria, BC – Investigators have confirmed the suspicious death on Pandora Avenue on September 14 was a homicide. In the early morning of September 14, 2023, officers responded to a call from BC Emergency Health Services about a man in medical distress in the 1000-block of Pandora Avenue. The man later succumbed to his injuries. A VicPD community update about this suspicious death was issued that same day. Investigators with the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) have determined that the man’s death was a homicide. Risk to the public is considered low and continues to be monitored.  Anyone with information about this incident is being asked to contact the VIIMCU information line at (250) 380-6211. This incident is still under investigation and further information cannot be shared at this time.
