Date: Monday, April 4, 2022File: 22-12465Victoria, BC – VicPD officers arrested three people during a protest blocking a highway in Victoria this morning.At approximately 8 a.m. this morning protesters entered the highway and blocked southbound traffic on Douglas Street at Finlayson Street. VicPD Patrol officers responded and worked to resolve the incident safely. Traffic in the area of Douglas and Finlayson streets was disrupted during the incident.Officers arrested three women for mischief for blocking the highway. Officers transported the suspects to VicPD cells where they were later released with a court date.
