Two Arrested By Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team

Victoria, BC – Two men, one from Vancouver and one from Victoria, are in custody after being arrested by the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT) this afternoon.GVERT officers took the two men into custody in the parking lot in the 900-block of Wharf Street just after 12 p.m. today.A noise device was utilized during the arrest,  resulting in a loud “bang” heard in the area.There were no injuries.More information will be shared as we are able in the coming days.
