On March 2nd, just before 3 p.m., Patrol officers noted a man riding a bicycle with his face covered and without a helmet on Bridge Street near Ellice Street. Officers stopped the man and began to speak with him when they noticed a bulge in his waistband. When officers asked the man about the bulge he produced a life-like replica handgun. Officers took the man into custody without further incident. While searching the man following the arrest, they located an additional can of bear spray, a knife, cash and drugs.

The man was transported to cells for and held for telebail.
