UPDATE | High-Risk Offender Douglas McPherson Arrested

Date: Monday, October 26, 2020File: 20-41137Victoria, BC – Patrol officers have arrested high-risk offender Douglas McPherson who was wanted on a Canada-wide parole revocation warrant.Douglas McPherson was the subject of a wanted person alert this morning. He is a federal parolee with a history of convictions for bank robbery and was considered a high risk to re-offend.At approximately 1:45 p.m. this afternoon, Patrol officers were called to the 900-block of Pandora Avenue, after an alert citizen noticed McPherson in the area. Officers arrested McPherson without incident. He will be transferred to the custody of Corrections Canada.Thank you to members of our community who shared McPherson’s information and helped to resolve this file.
