UPDATE | Investigators Seek To Identify Male In High-Risk Missing Woman Barbara ‘Hailey’ Way Investigation

 Date: Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021File: 21-50082Victoria, BC – Officers are asking for your assistance in identifying an unknown male as we work to locate high-risk missing woman Barbara “Hailey” Way.Hailey, described as a 19-year-old Caucasian woman standing five feet, nine inches tall with a slim build, wearing shoulder-length blonde hair and who has a tattoo of a sunflower on her left forearm, is the subject of a high-risk missing person alert issued Monday, December 20th, 2021.Hailey was last seen wearing a dark green jacket with a grey hooded sweater underneath, grey Vans shoes, and black leggings at Mayfair Mall on December 13th, 2021.At that time she was accompanied by an unknown male. He is described as a Caucasian male, between 16 and 25 years-old, standing five feet, six inches tall, with a medium build. At the time they were seen together, the male was wearing a black puffy winter coat overtop a black hoodie, a black toque with a small white logo, dark pants, and dark Vans shoes.   Hailey was last seen in Victoria on the afternoon of December 13th. Hailey was reported missing to VicPD on December 17th. Officers are working to locate Hailey to ensure that she is safe.
