UPDATE | Vehicle Located, Wanted Man Dallis Briet Still Outstanding

Date: Thursday, October 15, 2020File: 20-41236Victoria, BC – Community Services Division (CSD) officers have located the vehicle associated with wanted man Dallis Briet. Dallis Briet remains wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after his parole was revoked and is the subject of an ongoing VicPD Community Update Wanted Alert. CSD officers are continuing to work for locate him.Dallis Briet is described as a 44-year-old Caucasian man, standing six feet, two inches tall, with a heavy build, weighing approximately 229 lbs. Dallis Briet has blue eyes, one of which is a glass prosthetic, and short brown hair, which is greying at the temples and forms a widow’s peak. He recently had a short, scruffy dark brown beard with salt and pepper areas. A recent photograph of Dallis Briet is below.  CSD officers spotted Dallis Briet breaching his conditions yesterday, which included prohibitions from being in or driving a vehicle. The officers attempted to arrest him and he evaded them. The officers did not pursue Dallis Briet to reduce the risk to nearby bystanders.Dallis Briet has past arrests and convictions for a number of offences, including driving-related offences, possession of stolen property, break and enter and breaching conditions.If you see Dallis Briet, do not approach him. Call 911.Editors Note: Dallis Briet is not the man who was pulled from the Inner Harbour after a three-hour long search last night. Dallis Briet remains outstanding.
