UPDATE | Wanted Man Chadwick Wsiaki Arrested

Date: Tuesday, October 6th, 2020File: 20-39905Victoria, BC – Patrol officers have arrested wanted man Chadwick Wsiaki.Chadwick Wsiaki was the subject of a community alert yesterday. In addition to being wanted on outstanding warrants, Wsiaki is a suspect in a violent assault on October 4th in Stadacona Park where he is alleged to have assaulted a woman and brandished a machete.Patrol officers tracked Chadwick Wsiaki to Hollywood Park, in the 1600-block of Fairfield Road. Despite Wsiaki wearing a disguise, Patrol officers were able to identify and arrest him just before midnight last night.He was transported to cells and held for his warrants. The assault remains under investigation.Several tips from our community assisted in this investigation. Thank you to everyone who shared information with us.
