VicPD will be deploying temporary cameras on Canada Day in specific downtown Victoria locations to support our operations to ensure public safety during this family-friendly event.
The cameras will only be in operation during the expected time periods where there is a likelihood, demonstrated from previous years, that activity dangerous to the public may occur. Therefore, the cameras will be in operation from 4 p.m. on Canada Day until 4 a.m. on July 2nd.
