Victoria-area Victims Of Human Trafficking Sought After Swift Current RCMP Arrests

File: 20-6913Victoria, BC – Investigators are inviting victims who may have been trafficked by four Victoria-area individuals to come forward.Shawn Alexander Kelly, a 23-year-old Victoria man, Seyed Kourosh Miralinaghi, a 19-year-old Victoria man, Seyed Kamran Miralinaghi, also a 19-year-old Victoria man, and Shermineh Sheri Ziaee, a 36-year-old Langford woman, were arrested by Swift Current RCMP on January 28th, 2020, following a traffic stop. They face numerous human trafficking related charges.These four individuals have close ties to the Victoria area and investigators now believe that there may be additional victims here. Our investigators are inviting anyone who may have information about human trafficking involving these four people to come forward. Our officers want victims of human trafficking to know that they will not be judged. They will be listened to.
