Date: Monday, December 21, 2020File: 20-49753Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for witnesses and information after a pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a vehicle last week.At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 17th, a woman was struck by a vehicle as she crossed Hillside Avenue at Blackwood Street on foot. The suspect vehicle fled the scene, through a red light, eastbound on Hillside Avenue. The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident and did not file a report with police until the following day.The suspect is described as a 50 to 60-year-old South Asian woman driving a beige sedan.This file remains under investigation.If you witnessed this incident, or have information about the vehicle or suspect, please call our non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654, extension 1.
