Victoria, BC – VicPD has received the decision of Chief Justice Hinkson regarding the Victoria Courthouse encampment. VicPD respects the decision as an important step toward resolving this challenging situation. As the Order does not contain any specific direction to the police department, we are reviewing the details of the decision and are working with our partners to determine next steps. We will offer additional comment tomorrow once we have had an opportunity to review the decision.
