VicPD Investigates Hit and Run

Victoria, B.C. – On June 30, 2026, at approximately 1:26 a.m., VicPD responded to the area of Cook Street and Caledonia Avenue following a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.

The incident is believed to have occurred 30 minutes prior and was initially dispatched to BC Emergency Health Services for a person requiring medical assistance. The pedestrian was transported to hospital by paramedics in serious condition.

Traffic has now reopened on Cook Street between North Park Street and Caledonia Avenue. The collision is being investigated by VicPD’s Traffic Analysts and Major Crime Unit detectives.
