VicPD Update: Two Charged and Remanded Following Dallas Road Assault

Victoria, B.C. – Two individuals have been charged and remanded into custody following the assault with a weapon that occurred near Beacon Hill Park on July 3, 2026. 

Officers responded to the area just after 10:00 p.m. following a confrontation involving multiple people. Three individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries, two of whom were transported to hospital and have since been released. 

One of the accused, 20-year-old Hussein SAADEDEEN, is facing several Criminal Code charges – including 268(2) Aggravated Assault, and two counts of 267(a) Assault with a Weapon. 

The second person accused in the matter, a youth whose identity cannot be disclosed, is also facing charges – including 268(2) Aggravated Assault, two counts of 267(a) Assault with a Weapon (x2), and 90(1) Carrying Concealed Weapon. 

VicPD Major Crime Unit detectives continue to advance the investigation.
