Victoria, B.C. – Temporary traffic disruptions are expected this Saturday, May 10, due to the annual Victoria Tartan Parade, which promotes the upcoming Victoria Highland Games and Celtic Festival. To accommodate the parade, traffic disruptions are expected in the downtown core from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The parade will begin at Centennial Square, continue along Broad and Government streets, and conclude at Belleville Street. VicPD officers and reserve officers will be on duty Saturday to help ensure the parade remains a safe and family-friendly event. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
