Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen or heard something in the area. If you were in the 1000-block of Johnson Street or the 1400-block of Vancouver Street between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on April 24, and you have cell phone video, dash camera footage or security camera (CCTV) footage from your home or workplace during that timeframe, please call the E-Comm Report Desk at (250) 995-7654, extension 1, and reference file number 25-14635.Surveillance Video Released Officers are also sharing surveillance video images in hopes of identifying:

  • Two individuals (possible witnesses) who walked west on Johnson Street past the vehicle and suspect before the fire started;

  • One individual (possible witness) who walked north on Vancouver Street after the fire; and

  • Any person who can help identify the suspect.

Video Surveillance shows two possible witnesses walking west in the 1000-block of Johnson Street on April 24 at 4:02 a.m.

Video Surveillance shows one possible witness walking northbound in the 1400-block of Vancouver Street on April 24 at 4:18 a.m.
