VicPD Looking for Suspect in Armed Robbery Investigations

Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Police Department’s Major Crime Unit is investigating armed robberies at two gas stations in Victoria – and looking for the public’s help identifying the suspect. 

On April 6, 2026 police were called to a gas station in the 3000 block of Shelbourne Street around 9:15 p.m. for a report of a man who pointed a gun at a staff member and demanded money. 

Then around 9:40 p.m., police received another report of a robbery from a gas station in the 1900 block of Oak Bay Avenue. There were no reports of physical injuries in either case.  

Police believe a vehicle may have been used and the suspect has been described as a man, approximately 40 years old, with a heavy build.  

VicPD is sharing the following surveillance images hoping you can identify him. He’s wearing a white baseball cap, blue sweater with a red Reebok symbol, grey pants, and blue latex gloves.
