ALERT | Have You Seen Wanted Man Dallis Briet?

Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2020File: 20-41236Victoria, BC – Community Services Division (CSD) officers are asking for your help as we search for wanted man Dallis Briet. Dallis Briet is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after his parole was revoked.Dallis Briet is described as a 44 year-old Caucasian man, standing six feet, two inches tall, with a heavy build, weighing approximately 229 lbs. Dallis Briet has blue eyes and short brown hair, which is greying at the temples and forms a widow’s peak. He recently had a short, scruffy dark brown beard with salt and pepper areas. A recent photograph of Dallis Briet is below. Dallis Briet is associated to a seafoam green, four-door 2005 Nissan Altima. A photograph of a similar vehicle is below.This vehicle will have damage to the left driver’s side, and is currently missing the driver’s side mirror. The vehicle has a BC license plate, LF7 84A.CSD officers spotted Dallis Briet breaching his conditions, which included prohibitions from being in or driving a vehicle and attempted to arrest him earlier this afternoon. He evaded officers, who did not pursue him to reduce the risk to nearby bystanders.Dallis Briet has past arrests and convictions for a number of offences, including driving-related offences, possession of stolen property, break and enter and breaching conditions.If you see Dallis Briet, do not approach him.
