25-8025 | On March 6, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police responded to a report of an impaired driver incident at Johnson Street and Pandora Avenue. The vehicle struck another vehicle and caused significant damage. One person was arrested for impaired driving and the investigation is ongoing.
25-8047 | Just after 10:30 p.m. on March 6, VicPD received a report of a person causing a disturbance inside a building in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue. The individual was removed from the building and then allegedly proceeded to pick up a large orange pylon and swung it at a parked VicPD vehicle, causing significant damage and making the vehicle inoperable. Said Hassan was arrested and faces one charge of Mischief over $5,000 and one charge of Mischief by Willfully Obstructing, Interrupting or Interfering with the Lawful Use, Enjoyment or Operation of a Property.
25-8194 | On March 8, there was a break and enter in the 700-block of Yates Street. The suspect allegedly used an axe to break through windows and caused significant damage inside the business. Mark Fallon was arrested and charged with one count of Break and Enter With Intent and has been remanded in custody until a bail hearing this Friday.
25-8265 | On March 8, officers were called to the 100-block of Harbour Road after a report that a man was seen stealing paintings and chairs. The suspect was later located in the 800-block of Douglas Street and became confrontational with police. After being placed inside a police car, he proceeded to kick the door, causing significant damage; the vehicle has been rendered non-functional. The incident is still under investigation.
