Esquimalt 5K and Kids Fun Run 2025 Traffic Advisory

Date: Thursday, April 3, 2025 File: 25-7962Victoria, B.C. – Expect road closures and traffic delays during the Esquimalt 5K and Kids Fun Run 2025 on Saturday. On Saturday, April 5, the Esquimalt 5K and Kids Fun Run 2025 will feature approximately 600 participants. Runners will start assembling near the Archie Browning Sports Centre before 9 a.m. The run begins at 9 a.m. and will continue until approximately 11 a.m. Participants will start and finish their race on Lyall Street between Fraser Street and Lampson Street. The routes will take participants through Saxe Point Park, Macaulay Park, and several other neighbourhoods.  Expect traffic disruptions and road closures. Officers, VicPD Reserve Constables and trained marshals will help with traffic control along major points along the route. A map of the route is below:
