Image Released Of Cyclist Who Spat On Driver

Date: Tuesday, May 7, 2024 File: 24-13427 Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance as we work to identify a cyclist who spat on a vehicle driver and passenger in April. On April 19, just before 4:30 p.m., VicPD received a call from a man who was driving with his father along Dallas Road, when a cyclists spat at both of them through an open passenger window while at a three-way intersection near Cook Street. The spit struck the father in the face and the cyclist continued down Cook Street and out of view of the driver. It is unknown at this time what provoked the assault. The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 50 years old, with a medium build, grey hair and was riding a black road bike with black bicycle tights. An image of the suspect has been included below.
