Date: Friday, September 23, 2022File: 22-36018Victoria, BC – Officers are looking to reunite a samurai sword with its rightful owner after it was found by 12-year-old in a bush in Esquimalt.A concerned parent called the VicPD non-emergency line after her child came home carrying a samurai sword. The parent reported that their child was on the E&N trail on September 19th, when they discovered a samurai sword in the bushes near the intersection of Colville and Admirals roads. The large, black samurai sword was not in a sheath when the child located it.  An image of the sword is below.
