Man Arrested For Breaching Weapons Conditions At Royal Jubilee Hospital

Date: Friday, April 30th, 2021 File: 21-16616Victoria, BC – A man was arrested at Royal Jubilee Hospital by Patrol officers this morning for breaching conditions not to possess weapons.The man was previously shot in an encounter with a Patrol officer after he attended the hospital armed with a knife. He received non-life-threatening injuries in that incident.Officers were alerted by staff that the man was in possession of weapons at the hospital. Patrol officers attended and took him into custody this morning. There were no injuries.This file remains under investigation.The man was held for court.
