Date: Tuesday, February 8, 2022File: 22-4679Victoria, BC – A man remains in custody after a Sunday morning stabbing left a victim with potentially life-altering injuries.Patrol officers were called to a residence in the 1400-block of Lang Street just before 7:50 a.m. on Sunday morning for a report of an assault in progress. When officers arrived, they discovered the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds, including wounds to their face. B.C. Emergency Health Services paramedics attended, began treatment and transported the victim to hospital with non-life-threatening, but potentially life-altering injuries.A man was arrested and transported to VicPD cells. He faces recommended charges for aggravated assault. He was held in custody.This incident is remains under investigation.
