Man Charged After Investigation Into Reports Of Sexualized Violence Associated To A Downtown Bar And Grill

Date: Friday, January 7th, 2022File: 21-4455Victoria, BC – Jesse Chiavaroli has been charged with sexual assault and assault with a weapon after an investigation into reports of sexualized violence associated to a downtown bar and grill.On Friday, December 10th, VicPD’s Special Victims Unit detectives arrested Jesse Chiavaroli on the Lower Mainland. He was later released with a court date and conditions, including conditions not to contact the survivors of sexual violence related to the recommended charges.Jesse Chiavaroli has now been charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of assault with a weapon. His next court appearance is on February 24th.
