Victoria, BC – VicPD is asking for the public’s help in the continued search for high-risk missing 67-year-old man Miroslav, who has a mental health condition and has been without medication. Investigators are concerned for his wellbeing as his mental and physical health continues to deteriorate.
Miroslav is described as a Caucasian male, six feet five inches tall, with a heavy build and brown hair. Miroslav is believed to be traveling on foot with a walker and is possibly wearing a red jacket. Investigators also believe he may now be in Stanley Park in Vancouver as he was on the 3:00 p.m. ferry departing Victoria to Vancouver on April 1.
Miroslav is also known to have ties throughout the Lower Mainland and Calgary, and could be in either area.

Miroslav was reported missing just before 8:00 p.m. on April 1 and officers have been working since then to locate him. VicPD initially put out a missing person alert for Miroslav on Wednesday, April 2. If you see Miroslav, please call 911 and reference file number 25-11490. If you have information about where Miroslav may be, please call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
