Date: Monday, January 25, 2021File: 21-3265Victoria, BC – Officers have concluded our investigation into a sudden death at the temporary sheltering area in the 900-block of Caledonia Avenue yesterday, having determined it to be non-suspicious.Patrol officers were called to the temporary sheltering area in the parking lot in the 900-block of Caledonia Avenue just before 5 p.m. yesterday afternoon for a report that a deceased person had been discovered there. Officers arrived and investigated and determined the person’s death to be non-suspicious. Officers notified the person’s family of their loved one’s passing.The BC Coroners Service has taken over the investigation. Further inquiries can be directed to them.
