Date: Friday, November 26th, 2021File: 21-47183Victoria, BC - We have deployed temporary CCTV cameras in support of our operations to ensure public safety during both the Prime Minister’s visit to Victoria today and Saturday’s Peninsula Co-op Santa Light Parade.We are deploying these temporarily placed, monitored cameras in public spaces in accordance with B.C. and national privacy legislation. The cameras will be taken down a short time after the events. Temporary signs are posted to ensure that those in the area are aware.Traffic disruptions are anticipated.
