
2023 Times Colonist 10K Route
Khalsa Day Parade Returns Sunday also sees the return of the Khalsa Day parade in Victoria’s Burnside Gorge neighbourhood. This event attracts many participants, and significant traffic disruptions are likely to occur in the area. Officers and parade organizers are working together to minimize traffic disruptions while keeping performers and spectators safe. The parade will take place from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on Sunday, April 30. The parade route will proceed from Cecelia Road to Burnside Road, moving down Alpha Street, Douglas Street, Finlayson Street, and Jutland Road before returning to Cecelia Road. The parade will stop for approximately 20 minutes on Finlayson Street between Douglas Street and Burnside Road for performances. The parade will conclude at 1:30 pm, and the festival will continue at the Gurdwara Singh. All are welcome to join the Khalsa Day parade and festival. The parade route is below.
