Video | Witnesses, Victims Sought In Pellet Gun Incident

Victoria, B.C. – Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses or victims after a male was observed discharging a pellet gun at people in the 900-Block of Pandora Avenue last week. CCTV footage related to the incident has been released. 

Just before 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, patrol officers received report of a male who discharged several shots with a pellet gun towards someone in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue, before leaving the area. Responding officers conducted an extensive search for the suspect and were able to identify him with the available CCTV footage, a clip and still of which are provided below.

“The use of any type of firearm, whether real or replica, in a threatening manner is unacceptable,” said Spokesperson Constable Terri Healy. “We urge anyone who witnessed this event or has information to come forward. Witness or victim information will aid our work in holding those responsible for these behaviours accountable.” 

No victims have been identified, and officers are working to process and analyze evidence, with the intent of recommending charges to Crown counsel. The suspect has been arrested and remains in custody pending a future court date.
