Date: Monday, March 31, 2025 File: 25-6890 Victoria, B.C. – VicPD officers located and arrested wanted man Andre Brunet in Victoria in the early hours of March 29. Brunet was on Statutory Release for convictions related to Break and Enter with Intent, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Procuring to Make an Identity Document, and Failing to Comply with an Undertaking. He was the subject of a Canada-wide warrant after failing to return to his Community Residential Facility (CRF).

A VicPD wanted person alert was issued for Brunet on February 26, 2025. He was arrested in the 900-block of Humboldt Street at approximately 2:40 a.m. on March 29 and was taken to VicPD cells before being transported to the Vancouver Island Regional Correctional Centre. Thank you to everyone who shared the wanted person alert. VicPD is proud of the dedicated investigative work by the officers involved in locating and arresting Brunet without incident.
