Assault Investigation Seeks Witnesses, Dashcam Footage

Victoria, B.C. – Victoria Police Department (VicPD) officers are looking to identify and speak with several people who witnessed an assault in a parking lot around the intersection of Bay St. and Blanshard St., at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026.  

Officers are also asking drivers to check any dashcam footage they may have from this area between 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.   

Anyone with information who has not yet spoken with investigators is asked to contact the E-Comm non-emergency line at 250-995-7654 ext. 1, and reference file number 26-37696.  

 VicPD is unable to provide further details on the matter to protect the integrity of the investigation.
